New All Day Class Focusing on Getting Your Images onto Paper

Introduction:

You've spent a lot of time photographing your subjects and you probably have a lot of images that you like. But how often have you done something with those pictures? Have you had them printed and framed? Have you created a photo book or album? Why not?

Your photography takes on a whole new energy and excitement when you see your work displayed in a proper frame or a well-designed book. If you've never experienced seeing your photography this way, you're in for a wonderful surprise. This class is designed to help you understand the process and the issues involved in having your work properly printed.

You will be required to bring one 8x10 print and, in the afternoon, you will frame your own print in a 16x20 frame that uses an archival-grade mat and back as well as UV-protective glass. This will be an interactive class with several small-group discussions throughout the day in addition to the frame-your-own session.

Class Cost:

$97.22 before the end of the day on Saturday April 10th, 2010. Includes:

• $70 class fee
• $25.50 archival frame plus $1.72 sales tax (6.75% DuPage sales tax)

Due to the fact that frames need to be ordered ahead of time, registration will end on Wednesday April 21.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone who is interested in seeing their photographs in a physical form. There are no special technical skills or knowledge required to take this class.

* You can have the print made at any lab or printer that you want. Optionally, the instructor can provide archival-grade prints on a variety of fine art papers for $8.50 plus tax.
